Is this the worst-written African scam letter, ever?

I typically receive about a dozen scam emails each week, usually from Nigeria or Ghana. The letters typically want me to think I am the heir to a vast fortune from a dead king or general, or ask my help in processing a transfer of funds -- for which I will be richly rewarded. If I decide to cooperate, the scammer will ask for information about my bank account so he can transfer the loot to me. In reality, if I was stupid enough to fall for the scam, my bank account would be looted.

I have no idea how many people fall for this crap.

Some of the letters are well written, and might fool the naive and greedy. On the other hand, some -- like the following -- are so poorly done that the ineffective perps probably flunked out of scam school.

Note that "Wooldridge" is spelled without the "L" in the sloppy scammer's email address. Also, the official language of Ghana is ENGLISH.

OH! Here's a good one from the mother of "three plates" in Benin:

Hello,

My name is Mrs Yetunde Owolabi from Repulic of Benin, I gave birth to three plates, 3 children at a time after the death my husband on 18th of June 2011 by auto car accident. Already we have received 5 children from God, right now I can’t take care of them so I have decided to give them out for adoption, if you are interested let me know, I am not selling them but you will only pay for adoption fees to the ministry in concern and the Lawyer will legalized all the relevant documents and the baby will become legally yours.

Thanks,

Mrs. Yetunde Owolabi
